A big heartfelt Thank you!

Dear friends,

I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting my blog in the last few years ever since I started it on the beginning of my Egyptological journey. The year was 2011, when I had just returned from Liverpool, where I completed my MA in Egyptology. Now, four years on, I was President of the Vancouver chapter of the Society for the Study of Egyptian Antiquities, taught at Continuing Studies at both SFU and UBC, and was finally accepted into the PhD program in the department of Near & Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto. All throughout, it has been my prime goal and motivation to bring this wonderful ancient culture to a wider audience.

You may have heard that recently I began a new venture together with my good friend, Laura Ranieri. It is called “Ancient Egypt Alive!” and it is our great ambition to make ancient Egypt accessible and exciting for the General Public.

I am not going anywhere. I am merely moving my blog onto our own website hosted on www.ancientegyptalive.com, where I will continue to write on all things Egyptian.

In the meantime, thank you for your support. I am very grateful to see from where in the world all my readers come from and I look forward to seeing you at Ancient Egypt Alive!

Yours,
Thomas
